Richard Ashley Hamilton

Richard Ashley Hamilton is the award-winning screenwriter and author best known for his storytelling across such DreamWorks franchises as How To Train Your Dragon and Guillermo Del Toro's Trollhunters. He wrote on the Daytime Emmy-winning first season of Dragons: Race to the Edge and the Lumiere award-winning How To Train Your Dragon: Hidden World Tour VR experience. 


But in his heart, Richard remains a lifelong fan of kids books and has written for AMEET, Dark Horse Comics, Simon & Schuster, and more. Richard currently writes his YA mystery series, SCOOP, for Insight Editions and the middle-grade horror graphic novel FEARBOOK CLUB for Aftershock Comics.
