A lively celebration of all the wonderful things that make school so much fun, from learning facts to making new friends. A fun counting element makes this book perfect for reading aloud!

Children spend a large part of their lives in school—and this upbeat book celebrates all of the wonderful things that are part of a child’s school experience! From learning facts about the world, to making friends, to playing with others at recess, young readers will identify with the various characters as they navigate their way through a typical school week. This is the perfect back-to-school gift, and an ideal book to share aloud during story time!
Samantha Sweeney's favorite thing about writing and editing children's books is marveling at how much can be said in so few words. She lives in London in a tall house with a lot of stairs and comes up with some of her best ideas while she's on her way to the kitchen to make strong cups of tea. Her other great passion is soccer, and she is a dedicated supporter of a team that doesn't win very often.

John Joseph is the illustrator of Little Blue Truck, the multiple no. 1 New York Times best-selling series. When he is not illustrating books for children (and grown-ups), John is teaching visual arts at a local elementary school. He lives along the front range of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, where he enjoys playing with his two young boys, making music, and trying new foods with his wife.
