Clumsy Crab

Illustrated by Ruth Galloway
Nipper doesn't like his huge, clumsy claws. They are no use at all and they just get in the way. Nipper would much rather have tickly arms like Octopus, or tentacles like Sea Jelly, or flippety flippers and fins like Turtle and the fish. But one day, when he is playing with his friends, Nipper finds that his claws are very useful after all!
Ruth Galloway studied art in school but is essentially self-taught. She knew she was going to be an artist from the age of eight and is now a successful illustrator of a number of picture books. Ruth is also a train aerobics instructor, and in her spare time, she enjoys cooking and gardening. Ruth is married and with two children and lives in Berkshire, England.
