Lynne Thigpen

Lynne Thigpen was a well-known American character actress. Thigpen’s fans know her first and foremost as “The Chief” from the Carmen Sandiego television series. Thigpen’s fame was not only limited to that mid-90’s program though, as she was also an extremely decorated actress with a host of awards nominations and wins to her name. Thigpen won the Tony Award in 1997 for her role in An American Daughter.
