A heartwarming picture book about the ups and downs of reconnecting with a grandma who lives far away, from critically acclaimed author-illustrator Angie Kang, creator of Our Lake.
When Grandma arrives with her suitcase and fond memories that Ying can’t even recall, their visits feel all wrong—until Grandma realizes it’s time to say "Nice to meet you" all over again, and together they discover who they’ve each grown to be.
With her gorgeous artwork and lyrical voice, Angie Kang captures the vulnerability in opening up to someone again and shows how leading with curiosity and love helps build a relationship that's organic and true.
Angie Kang is a Chinese American writer and illustrator living in LA.
