Mabel's Museum of Wonders

Illustrated by Dana Wulfekotte
The small things that spark a friendship are celebrated in this jewel of a picture book.

Mabel is a wombat who loves collecting tiny treasures. There’s the seashells that remind her of her first trip to the beach, her grandmother’s antique marble collection, and the rabbit-shaped box that holds all her buttons. But after a recent move, the one thing she doesn’t have is a friend to share her treasures with, so she decides to open her very own “Museum of Wonders!” But will anyone show up who will appreciate her collections like she does?

Full of sweet and subtle humor and beautiful art that feels timeless, this picture book perfectly captures the joy found in new friendship and the little things that connect us.
