STEPHEN SHASKAN has written and illustrated over twenty children's books. He holds a BFA in illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and worked for twenty years as an early childhood educator and after-school/summer art teacher. He loves performing at storytimes, presenting at schools and conferences, and teaching drawing comics to kids with his wife and periodic collaborator, author Trisha Speed Shaskan. They live in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
