A gorgeous I-love-you picture book that celebrates our reasons for being, from the Schneider Award-winning team behind Listen and for readers of You Are My I Love You, Here We Are, and The Wonderful Things You Will Be

From sunup to sundown, a child’s world widens with pleasure, wonder, and worth. With loving words, a parent encourages her child toward the "why" of it all—play, friendship, freedom, community, conservation, and a deeper understanding of ourselves. A celebration of the profound in the ordinary, and rich with color and joy, Your Why delights in the many whys that connect us, our responsibilities to each other and our planet, and the indescribable love a parent feels in seeing their child explore their world.
