When Zak's grandfather falls ill, Zak must go on a quest to find ten magical gems to help cure him. This action-packed quest story takes the reader from CVC and CVCC word text through to consonant blends, consonant teams and suffixes -ed and -ing. Phonic Books Magic Belt comprises 12 decodable books for older readers who can read simple CVC words. Magic Belt shares the same phonic progression as Phonic Books That Dog! and can be used in parallel to consolidate phonemic knowledge and reading skills.
