Perfect for nature lovers and curious kids, If You Find a Fawn pairs instructive text with lush illustrations for a beautiful picture book adventure.

When we find someone we think is in trouble, our instinct is to help. But the baby animal you find might not be in trouble at all. Come along, wild wanderer, and learn through this lyrical journey and informative backmatter.

This book is part of the Disney Planet Possible Books program, aiming to inspire and empower young readers to take care of planet Earth through amazing stories that celebrate advocacy, conservation, and stewardship, kid-friendly environmental activities, and books manufactured with care in the United States.
Kellie DuBay Gillis grew up in Bay City, Michigan, with kids who loved to make things and to share neighborhood adventures on an old purple tandem bike. She writes stories about things you find in nature, things you might not find in nature unless you know the magical places to look, things that happen to most kids, and things most kids wish would happen. Kellie is an environmental scientist and communications specialist with over 25 years of experience blending her passion for protecting the planet with storytelling. She lives just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, with her family.

Wazza Pink lives in Ha Noi, Vietnam. She’s loved to read comics and picture books ever since she was a kid, and learned to draw by mimicking the styles of her favorite comic book artists. She kept practicing and learning through books, the internet, and her artist friends. Wazza likes to listen to music while working. It helps her focus, and some tunes really inspire great ideas for her art pieces. She love cats and has two kitties at home. She believes that having a pet is truly a way to perfect your life.
