Rosamund Lloyd lives in London with her two boys (one son, one husband). She loves visiting museums in the big city and baking cakes in her tiny house.

Summer Macon was born in a little bitty town in the wild west of southern New Mexico. She quickly became known as the girl who would doodle on every piece of paper in class and write notes on her homework to her teacher proclaiming her name was now “Tiger” (and yes, would actually sign her papers that way).

She now goes by her real name and lives in an even smaller itty bitty town (population 32) in an even wilder place in southern Colorado.

In the summertime (Summer enjoys the summer and not the winter), you can find her rock climbing, mountain biking, or doodling on her contracts. She lives with her loving husband and two extremely goofy dogs who help her run their cute little 2-acre farm.
Baby-Toddler–A “My Little Book of Sounds” features 6 sounds with an on/off switch on the back cover. This title covers many of the sounds a baby makes, from giggles to yawns. Short, rhyming verse captures an activity and the sound produced. Young children are able to press on a circle on the page to hear the sound and adults who are sharing the reading experience are encouraged through prompts on each spread to engage with their young child. These activities include dancing, repeating sounds, and massage for a sneezy baby nose. VERDICT Multiple avenues for enjoying the sounds young children make in books and in real life. Recommended. --School Library Journal
