The evil Dr. Wily has been arrested for his crimes against the world, but how long can the mad genius be held in custody? The answer: not for long! Mega Man and Dr. Light are made the scapegoats in a daring prison escape while Roll is kidnapped!

It's up to Mega Man, the Robot Masters, and federal agents Roslyn Krantz and Gil D. Stern to find Roll, rescue her, and clear the name of Dr. Light! But it won't be easy. especially with two long-lost Robot Masters serving as Dr. Wily's personal guard!
Ian Flynn (born May 31, 1982), also known by his Internet pen name Ian Potto, is an American comic writer. He has been the chief writer for Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog comic since issue #160. Flynn obtained the writing position on the comic by sending in unsolicited proposals, after a long participation in unofficial creation of comics about Sonic. He is notable for being a rare case of making a transition from active amateur to pro. He gained initial recognition for a fan comic known as Other M.
