The Secret Lives of Unicorns

Illustrated by Sophie Robin
Look inside
If you thought unicorns were imaginary, think again. Anatomy, evolution, life cycle, magical properties: prepare to learn just how much you didn't know about these fantastic, magical equines. A full encyclopedia of all things unicorns--an upgrade for fans of My Little Pony and fun for kids who love magic.

Meet species from the fjords of the north to the unforgiving deserts of the equator as you discover the wonders of this enchanting creature from past to present.
Professor Temisa Seraphini grew up in Nottingham where she first encountered a unicorn in the wild, igniting a lifelong passion for their study and conservation. She is now a leading expert on Unicorns and Unicornology at the University of Forgotten Magical Creatures.

Sophie Robin is a freelance illustrator who recently graduated with honors from Edinborough College of Art. She currently lives in Glasgow.
"Robin illustrates in dramatic spreads that combine elements of fantasy with the aesthetics of a vintage picture encyclopedia. Seraphini’s earnest tone will persuade nonbelievers, and maybe even move them to help dwindling unicorn populations (by picking up litter and growing native plants)."
Publishers Weekly

"Wonderful detailed images of the different species of unicorns, the scientists, the landscapes, and other details described."
