Astro Kittens: Into The Unknown

Illustrated by Ben Newman
Look inside
Greetings, my little Astro Kittens! Are you ready to take off on your first space adventure? Join Professor Astro Cat as we head Into the Unknown, in an adventure for pre-K age kids to spark their interest in science!

What would life be like on another planet? It might be difficult to imagine, but scientific exploration and development is evolving so fast that it might not be an impossibility. From holidays on the moon to discovering aliens, this beautifully illustrated board book explore some of the research that is taking us one step closer to discovering what life might be like in the unknown.
Dominic Walliman is a YouTuber and a non-fiction children’s book author. He has a popular YouTube channel called Domain of Science and he writes the award winning Professor Astro Cat science books for children. Dominic grew up in Cheltenham UK, gained a PhD in quantum device physics from The University of Birmingham and worked for several years in the quantum computing industry in Canada.

Ben Newman is an award-winning illustrator who has racked up an impressive list of clients including Penguin, the BBC, and the New York Times, amongst many others. He is the illustrator for the entire Astro Cat series, which consists of two board books, two books for young readers, four books for elementary age children, and one activity book.
“Once dinosaurs have begun to seem passé, space is the place for many toddlers, and the Astro Kittens are excellent guides.”
Kirkus Reviews

"Bright, informative, and simple enough for the preschool crowd, this book is a fun way to introduce science-fiction concepts to young children. If you have ever thought about making a journey to a distant planet, how we might survive and what we might find- or even if you just like science- this is a fun read to share with preschoolers."
YA Books Central

"Into The Unknown looks at the things that are in space. Wormholes, what living arrangements might look like, light speed, the long sleep that we’d take getting out there and more are covered in the book. They’re done at a macro level so that adults can read it to small children. The content is timeless and the illustrations drawn kids in so that they can’t help but learn."
