Nick Balian is a Disney Publishing artist and an illustration manager at Pixar Animation Studios, where he helps create children’s books based on Pixar’s films. Of all the books that Nick has illustrated, his absolute favorites are the Little Golden Books. He had the pleasure of illustrating the Little Golden Book for Pixar’s Onward and co-illustrating the Little Golden Book for Pixar’s Soul. Nick has also contributed illustrations to Disney Little Golden Books, including The Jungle Cruise, Mickey’s Walt Disney World Adventure, and The Orange Bird. As a beloved Disneyland fan, Nick’s dream came true when he wrote and illustrated his very own Little Golden Book, Little Man of Disneyland: A Change of Luck—the much-anticipated sequel to the 1955 classic, Little Man of Disneyland.
