Neil Sharpson

Neil Sharpson lives in Dublin with his wife and their two children. A veteran playwright and novelist, Neil was inspired to write his first picture book, Don't Trust Fish, when he realized someone needed to warn the world about the villainy and unpredictability of fish. Don't Trust Fish was a national bestseller and was shortlisted for several awards including the An Post Children's Book of the Year Award, and was selected by Slate Magazine as one of the 25 Best Picture Books of the last 25 years. With his second picture book Help! I'm Being Eaten by a Bear!, Neil hopes to warn the world about bears and put all those rumors of him secretly being a crab to rest.

Dan Santat is a #1 New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of over a hundred books, including the National Book Award winning graphic memoir A First Time for Everything. His picture book The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend received the Caldecott Medal. He also illustrated The Blur, Lift, and Drawn Together, written by Minh Lê, which received critical acclaim. Dan is also the creator of the Disney animated hit The Replacements. He lives in Southern California with his family.
