Brinton Turkle

Brinton Turkle was born on August 15, 1915, in Alliance, Ohio. Growing up, Turkle enjoyed drawing, reading, music, and building. He went to the Carnegie Institute of Technology, now called Carnegie-Mellon University, and eventually became a popular writer and illustrator of children’s books. Turkle has illustrated more than 100 books.
