Bri Marie McNish (she/her) (also known as "poppybellies" on Twitter) is a self-taught black illustrator and storyteller with an interest in picture book illustration and illustrating for children based in New England, US. She loves cozy, whimsical stories featuring lovable, inclusive characters and animals - and she hopes she conveys that love through her work! Bri primarily works digitally and uses brushes and palettes to evoke fairy tales and fables as well as cozy moments of everyday life.
