El Día de Muertos es un día festivo muy especial, en el cual las familias celebran y comparten historias y risas que traen a los muertos de vuelta a la vida. ¡Ven y únete al festejo!

Es un día en el cual la familia reunida cuenta historias y ríe. Hay platillos favoritos por cocinar y poemas por escribir para los muertos, y lo más importante: memorias por evocar. Ningún familiar es olvidado, porque éste es el día en el que los muertos vienen a visitar a los vivos—y en este día festivo, es casi como si estuvieran sentados a nuestro lado mientras celebramos las cosas que los hicieron especiales. El texto tierno y el arte vibrante de Ana Aranda hacen que la alegría de este día sea tangible.

Ana Aranda (anaranda.com) also illustrated Moth & Butterfly: Ta-da! (by Dev Petty) and The Chupacabra Ate the Candelabra (by Marc Tyler Nobleman). She was born and raised in Mexico City, and completed her undergraduate studies in illustration in France. In San Francisco, she painted murals in the Mission District, for the Consulate General of Mexico, and for the prestigious de Young Museum. Her biggest inspirations are her childhood memories, the vibrant colors of Mexico, and music.
