Young readers will love to peek through the pages of this layered die-cut board book to learn all about the world beneath the water!

In this newest installment of Tiger Tales’ What Can You See? series, young readers can peek through the pages to learn all about the world beneath the waves. Children learn about the animals that live on the ocean floor, such as crabs and urchins; creatures that cling to rocks, such as limpets and mussels; dolphins and sea turtles; corals; octopuses; and many more underwater inhabitants. Simple text and lively illustrations make this an ideal introduction for children who are interested in learning more about the animals that live in the ocean.
Molly Littleboy lives in a tiny apartment in London with more plants than she really has space for. She is lucky enough to have her dream job in children’s publishing, where she gets to edit, write, and spend time finding words that rhyme. Her favorite things are lazy Sundays, detective stories, and petting other people’s dogs.

Maria Perera was born in Gijon, a small town in the north of Spain. At a very young age, she found out that there are few things in life she enjoyed as much as listening to the Beatles and drawing. When she grew up, she graduated with a degree in art history from the University of Oviedo, and soon after she studied graphic design at the Art School of Aviles. Maria still listens to the Beatles and feels fortunate to be able to do what she loves the most for a living: illustration.
PreS-K–An introduction to the ocean and its creatures. Die-cuts display and cover different elements as readers dip just below the surface of the water to the very deepest parts of the ocean. VERDICT Children will thoroughly enjoy diving in and learning all about the diversity of our largest body of water. --School Library Journal
