Young readers are introduced to ponds in this nonfiction board book that includes lift-the-flaps and peek-through pages throughout, as well as prompts and activities to encourage children to get outside and explore their world.

Through simple facts, prompts, and activities, children are introduced to the amazing world of ponds! They’ll learn how wriggly tadpoles become hopping frogs, the best way to pond dip, and the types of wildlife one might find on a pond exploration. This sturdy board book, which includes lift-the-flaps and peek-through pages throughout, is the perfect nonfiction book to inspire a love of nature in young readers.

The One Little board book series from Tiger Tales immerses young readers in the natural world. These engaging nonfiction titles present the processes of growth and change in our world, with bite-size facts and lift-the-flaps for an interactive learning experience.
Molly Littleboy lives in a tiny apartment in London with more plants than she really has space for. She is lucky enough to have her dream job in children’s publishing, where she gets to edit, write, and spend time finding words that rhyme. Her favorite things are lazy Sundays, detective stories, and petting other people’s dogs.

Jacob Souva has a beautiful wife, two amazing sons, and resides in a small community in northern New York. Jacob sketches constantly and finishes his work digitally, placing a lot of emphasis on simple shapes, color, and lots of texture. As a child he was always drawing things for the sole purpose of having them immortalized forever on the fridge. Thankfully, his mom and dad valued the making of art (even if it consisted of random scribbles that would never look like a mandolin playing platypus, or whatever the topic was at that moment) and encouraged him with kind words.
