Brian Soonho Yoon

Brian Sooonho Yoon is an origami artist with more than 12 years of experience in both folding and teaching. The first model that he ever folded was the origami shuriken (throwing star)! Over the years, Brian has honed his folding skills with a particular focus on tessellations—repeated geometric patterns thathighlight both the mathematical concepts and artistic precision inherent in origami. In addition to his personal artistry, Brian has dedicated much of his time to teaching origami, sharing his expertise with students of all ages. Whether working with beginners or advanced folders, he enjoys guiding others through the challenges and rewards of transforming a simple sheet of paper into complex, visually stunning designs. In this book, Brian hopes to inspire others to discover the beauty of origami and share his love for the timeless art form.
