Celebrating a landmark event in the life of all dancers!

It's the night before a young girl's first dance recital. At the dress rehearsal, she and her class go over the steps one last time. What if she messes up? she worries. But the next day, she's ready to perform. When the class spins left she spins right! Without missing a beat, she keeps on dancing and smiling. The Night Before My Dance Recital celebrates this with humor, warmth, and engaging illustrations by Amy Wummer.
Natasha Wing was born in Milford, Connecticut, in 1960. At the age of 20 she moved to Arizona where she finished college at Arizona State University in 1982 with a BS in advertising. In 1991 she decided to write children’s books. She sold her first book, Hippity HopFrog on Top, within six months and has been writing children’s books and articles ever since. The Night Before series began with The Night Before Easter and has grown into a best-selling series of more than 25 titles.
